3X Instant Arts Channel
Renowned sand artist Hoi Chiu will team up with experienced musician Patrick Ng and guest artists to create a spontaneous and one-of-a-kind live performance. The show will be broadcasted live and audiences are invited to phone in or live chat with creative team and participate in the real-time creation of sand art and music.
Innovative Arts & Media Association (IAMA)
Based in Hong Kong, Innovative Arts & Media Association (IAMA) curates and administrates various arts project to serve the public. The organization devotes its efforts to explore wider platforms and audiences for local artists, improve the accessibility of arts in society and enhance local artists’ exposure and competitiveness on the international level. The organization’s recent productions of Brothers of War and Romeo & Juliet were featured in Jockey Club New Arts Power 2020. During the pandemic, IAMA adapted the concept originated from UK and created the #artistsupportpledgehk platform, which showcased 100 local artists and over 300 art pieces. The campaign has successfully generated income for one third of its participants.
Theatre Artists in Live Chat with Improvised Sand Art and Music
From February to April 2021, 3X Instant Arts Channel will be releasing a 10-episode series every Monday at 8:30 pm, featuring representative artists from the Hong Kong theatre. Each episode will consist of an original mix of live sand art, music and chit-chat on a specific topic. The creative team hopes the viewers will be inspired by the guests’ experience and face the pandemic and other adversities in life with a positive attitude.
