Building Hyperlink

The project simulates a virtual building complex which houses different artists. Each unit becomes a makeshift stage and the combination of all 18 units functions in the manner of a mixed media orchestra. Apart from musical instruments, the tenants/artists perform with body movements, images, text and machines to create a synchronised ensemble or to demonstrate excerpts of the music. Viewers can watch the ensemble performance, or to select any combination of the units according to their own preferences. Live performers will show up at specific times at the building, engaging in interactive performances with the owners of other units.
